PayPal ‘Pay in 4, Play in 4’ Holiday Pop-Up Launches Coast to Coast Across Canada

TORONTO, Nov. 15, 2025: To celebrate the launch of PayPal Pay in 41 PayPal is adding a little extra magic to malls nationwide with its ‘Pay in 4, Play in 4’ pop-up tour. This experience travels coast-to-coast, stopping at four prime shopping centres in four major cities over four consecutive weeks.
Inspired by Canadians’ love for hockey and the joy of the holiday season, the experience invites people to play, win, and learn how PayPal Pay in 4 can help them manage their cash flow and turn holiday shopping into a power play. The pop-up features a hockey-themed claw machine where visitors can try their luck by grabbing a Lucky Puck plushie for a chance to win prizes valued up to $1,0002. Every visitor gets one chance to play, while those who have used PayPal Pay in 4 get four chances to play.
The ‘Pay in 4, Play in 4’ tour will make stops at:
- Toronto – CF Toronto Eaton Centre | November 15–22
- Montréal – CF Carrefour Laval | November 24–30
- Calgary – CF Chinook Centre | December 6–12
- Vancouver – CF Richmond Centre | December 15–22

Making the holidays even brighter, PayPal Pay in 4 is partnering with Cadillac Fairview as the first-ever presenting sponsor of the iconic tree lighting spectacle at CF Toronto Eaton Centre.
Starting November 14, visitors to the mall can enjoy daily holiday tree light and snow shows every hour, on the hour, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM until December 31, presented by PayPal Pay in 4. These festive experiences include dazzling light shows, festive music, and swirling indoor snow.
Earlier this month, PayPal Pay in 4 launched in Canada—a no-fee, interest free, buy now, pay later (BNPL) solution for shoppers. Approved consumers can split eligible purchases between $30 and $1,500 CAD into four equal, interest-free payments over six weeks. This flexible payment option is available across millions of online Canadian and global lifestyle, consumer, and travel brands, just in time for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Boxing Day.
PayPal Pay in 4 eligible purchases are covered by PayPal's Purchase Protection3, bringing peace of mind to online shopping—whether purchases don't show up, or aren't quite as described.
