PayPal Canada $15K Business Makeover
PayPal has long been a champion for entrepreneurs helping them to start and grow their businesses. This year, we’ve teamed up with some of our partners to award two businesses that we believe have major potential with $15,000, plus $2,500 in shipping credits and a makeover of their choice. You must enter by October 31, so get started today!
The prizes
Entrants will have the opportunity to win* one of two prizes, each of which includes:
- $15,000 cash from PayPal (transferred to winner’s PayPal balance).
- One-on-one payment consultation with PayPal, including discussion of improving your payment infrastructure, how and expanding to international sales can help your business.
- $2,500 in shipping credits from Canada Post
- The choice of a website makeover by Shopify or a back-office upgrade from Xero, including CRM and accounting software and support.
Selecting the finalists
Three finalists from each of the following categories will be chosen:
- New businesses looking to grow.
- Established businesses looking to update.
Selecting the winners
A team of judges will select one winner from among the finalists in each business category. The finalist judges include Paul Parisi, President of PayPal Canada, Lise Cote, GM Consumer and Small Business Marketing at Canada Post, Lucas Matheson, Director of Operations at Shopify, and Keri Gohman, President of Americas at Xero.

- Finalists and winners will be scored on:
- Business need (40 points)
- Growth potential (20 points)
- Originality and creativity (20 points)
- Clarity of expression (20 points)
